Who We Are

The World Of Good was founded in 2006 and has been actively involved in promoting organic cotton and sustainable products to parents and their children ever since.

Based in Sydney NSW the company is a distributor of high quality, innovative products which are sourced from designers around the world. These products are sold through a network of specialist resellers across Australia and New Zealand.

The founders and operators of the company are Crecy den Hollander (that’s Crecy – rhymes with┬ámessy!) and her husband Jeremy Brown. Serial entrepreneurs, Crecy and Jeremy have been involved to a greater or lesser degree in marketing, sales, technical support and management in industries as diverse as information technology, film and television location management, bespoke furniture production and property management!

In 2005 a chance meeting with friends from the USA on vacation in Australia introduced them to the whole area of organics and sustainability through some beautiful products that were being manufactured on behalf of a US designer. The more they looked into the whole area of sustainability the more they wanted to get involved in some way; and in 2006 the company was launched.

Since then it has brought some wonderful products to Australia. In addition to the current brands The World of Good has brought to market the Nest range of children’s furniture, the innovative motion sensitive baby hammock from Kanoe, the fashionable range of children’s clothing from Scout, natural sponges from Croll & Deneke, the original organic range of muslin products from aden + anais, organic cotton soft toys from Dandelion and My Natural; and the wide range of infant bedding products from Babyluxe Organic.

The World of Good operating philosophy is to find unique and engaging products for parents and their children, make them available in Australia to specialist resellers, and to provide unparalleled service both before and after the sale. Its broader aim is to bring attention to the importance of sustainable products and to make it progressively easier for people to make informed choices.
